Being financially capable means understanding topics related to finance such as finance related terminology, making money, spending money, and saving money wisely. In Money Matters, students will investigate money management from a personal financial perspective. Students will apply critical-thinking skills to analyze financial options. Students will practice their financial decision-making skills through fun, engaging digital tools and games. Students will have an estimated 30 minutes worth of homework each week. Students will be graded on class participation, homework and in-class assignments and completion of an end of semester project.
