Do you have a child or teen that is interested in the medicinal uses of plants or maybe just living more holistically? This class is perfect for them! Students will be learning the basics of herbalism including foraging, identification, safety, cultivation, preservation, and preparation. We will be doing a deep dive in to an herb each month of the school year and each student will be building their own Materia Medica that can last them a lifetime. They will be able to physically touch herbs and plants as well as try out different tea blends. They will also be making a few take homes that would be wonderful additions to your family’s health rotation or as sweet gifts to others. There will be additional school supplies needed for this class.
