3rd-5th Elementary Integrative Health

Students will learn about integrative health from a Certified Yoga Instructor, Ayurveda Practitioner, & Herbalist. The intent of an integrative health education program is to motivate students to maintain and improve their mental, emotional and physical health, prevent disease and avoid or reduce health related risk behaviors. Each class, students will participate in a movement and mindfulness activity as well as learn about healthcare theme that is appropriate to their age level. Children will only need a yoga/exercise mat, water bottle, and a place to store handouts from each class. Everything else is included, no book is required.
