Disney! Writing will focus and teach students the basics of writing! The students will watch the assigned Disney movie and will also learn about many elements of Literature. A short piece of writing will be assigned using the skills learned from class. We will focus on many types of writing: writing letters, character descriptions, compare / contrast, movie reviews, summarizing material, writing from pictures, and more! We will also begin learning how to write and use an outline. We will take it step by step to learn the process as well as how to improve their writing. No formal writing experience needed.
