Complete Earth and Space Science class. Using the Real Science 4 Kids textbook Focus on Middle School Geology and a provided packet of materials on Space Science, as well as supplemental material. Students will explore the tools and equipment used by geologists; rocks, minerals and soils; the layers of the Earth; mountains, volcanoes, earthquakes; the layers of the atmosphere, Earth’s magnetic field and more. Homework – Textbook reading and various assignments. Homework is minimal but expected. - Grading – Assignments, quizzes and tests will be used to determine grades.
