Rise
and Shine: Sourdough Baking introduces students to the art and science of
sourdough baking. Students will learn how to create and care for a sourdough
starter, bake delicious bread, and use discard in creative recipes like
pancakes, crackers, and more. This hands-on class encourages patience,
experimentation, and practical kitchen skills while fostering confidence and
creativity in the kitchen. Parents will need to provide basic kitchen tools,
and ingredients will be supplied for class projects.
