An introduction to debate; why is it important, how to develop a debate topic, debate structure and how to win a debate. We will learn the terms affirmative, negative, rebuttal and when to use them. The class will have several opportunities to put their knowledge into action through classroom debates! There will be assignments to complete and a final grade will be given. *Students will receive a full debate credit for this class.*
