K-5th - Fairytale Science

We will use fairytales as our base to explore science. We will watch a clip or read well-known fairytales (and some not so well known) from a scientist's perspective, having a scientific question about some aspect of the story. We will then dive into hands-on experiments and activities relating to our scientific question. Areas of science that will be covered include chemistry, forensics, astronomy, botany, and more!
